Client Contact Specialist

Location: Treynor, IA


SUMMARY

Provide excellent client service via the phone by assisting with basic account maintenance. Must be motivated and willing to learn all banking systems to proactively offer client support in the most effective, efficient, and consistent manner.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Handle phone inquiries professionally and follows-up appropriately with each caller to exceed the individual's expectations and comply with bank policy.
  • Assist clients with account maintenance including: balance inquiries, transfers between checking and savings accounts, check orders, debit card maintenance, raising/lowering debit card limits, contact information updates, and general inquiries.
  • Introduce clients to products that may be beneficial to them and connect the client with the proper person or department to help them succeed and deepen their relationship with the bank.
  • Troubleshoot issues and answer questions on bank products and services, such as online banking, mobile money, and telebanking.
  • Escalate service issues or situations requiring specialized problem solving skills to a CCS II, CCS III, or the Client Contact Center Manager respectively, as needed.
  • Maintain documents and materials via internal communication repository.
  • Update CRM with call logs and cases related to clients.
  • Handle and log returned mail.
  • Fold and assemble statements, as needed.
  • Complete assigned online training.

Junior Systems Administrator

Location: Treynor, IA


SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible for providing systems operational support, documentation, administration, installation, disaster recovery, and maintenance for key bank infrastructure. Candidate for this position would be a key member of an IT team responsible for Banking Application, Windows, and Linux system administration support for server technology configured in a physical and virtual environment (using VMware). This position will process a variety of work assignments associated with the bank's technology. Work is performed within the framework of standard operating policies and procedures; however, independent judgment and discretion is required in performing assigned tasks.

This position is responsible for providing support to the Wealth Management Group.   • Pertinent reporting may cover a broad range of responsibilities such as financial modeling, forecasting, and risk and performance management.

Commercial Credit Analyst

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for analyzing the financial data of new and existing commercial loans and preparing credit request displays and reviews of existing credits. Assist Credit Officers and Market Presidents in promoting and selling loan products offered by the commercial department. Work is performed within the framework of standard operating policies and procedures; however, independent judgment and discretion is required in performing assigned tasks. Deviations from normal procedures and/or questions are referred to the designated supervisor.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Analyze new and existing commercial credit files (e.g., enter data into database and/or spreadsheet computer applications; generate reports; collate data from reports; review balance sheet, income statement, etc. and calculate ratios in preparing credit review; submit review for loan officers' modification; prepare final comments and make decisions regarding assignment of loan rating; sign and archive credit review with loan file).
  • Create and run queries for Credit Administration staff.
  • Periodically attend join calls with Credit Officers and Market Presidents with potential and existing clients. Assist with requesting specified information from credit applications for proper evaluation of the credit request.
  • Update Loan Board Report information. This includes, but is not limited to, new loan reports, reports of concentrations and participations, updates on progression of watch list loans, etc.
  • Prepare forms, reports, correspondence, memoranda, etc.; answer the telephone.
  • Perform project work, as assigned.
  • Comply with all banking regulations, policies and procedures.

Senior Agriculture Credit Analyst

Location: Treynor IA


SUMMARY

This position is responsible for analyzing the financial data of new and existing agriculture loans and preparing credit reviews along with leading the agriculture analyst team. Assist Credit Officers and Market Presidents in promoting and selling loan products offered by TS Ag Finance Group, developing relationships with farmers and ranchers who meet our company's credit standards, and closing loans and providing ongoing service to the clients. Work is performed within the framework of TS Ag Finance Group's standard operating policies and procedures; however, independent judgment and discretion is required in performing assigned tasks.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Analyze new and existing agriculture credit files (e.g., enter data into database and/or spreadsheet computer applications; generate reports; collate data from reports; review balance sheet, income statement, etc. and calculate ratios in preparing credit review; submit written reviews for credit officers' modification; prepare final comments and make decisions regarding assignment of loan rating; sign and archive credit review with loan file).

  • Periodically assist Credit Officers and Market Presidents with interviewing applicants and requesting specified information for loan applications, including: borrower's operation size and scope, operation decision makers and individuals involved, gathering obligor financial documents, and other information pertinent for proper evaluation of the loan application.

  • Meet or exceed all established sales goals and contribute to branch deposit growth; track and log all interactions in the bank's CRM system; provide feedback at weekly sales huddles; completion of 2.2.2 follow-up; Personal Banking Incentive Program participation allowed after 90-day onboarding
  • Maintain a system of follow-up mail and telephone communication several times during the year with new and existing clients to generate additional business
  • Answer client questions and handle objections during the sales process; diplomatically handle dissatisfied clients by providing exceptional client service
  • Perform both account opening and transactional processes in the delivery of efficient, accurate and professional service that defines exceptional client service and reputation
  • Proficient in personal account opening, maintenance, closing including checking, savings, and safe deposit boxes. Adheres to lean account opening process
  • Check ordering; check cashing procedures; issue cashier's checks; process wire transfers; account maintenance; transfer/sweeps; online banking and mobile banking maintenance; stop payments; process holds and ACH/debit card disputes
  • Approve overdrafts and returns (with lending authority)
  • Proficient in BSA requirements including CTR transactions, monetary instrument log, and detecting/reporting suspicious/unusual activity
  • Provide awareness of all banking products and services via outbound communication and interaction with current and prospective clients. Make appropriate referrals and possesses a thorough knowledge of TS Banking Group products and services. Gathers and organize client information based on referrals; answer questions regarding same; make follow-up calls; use CRM system to prepare and proceed with the next steps in referral process (current and prospective clientele); provide feedback to supervisor and affected bank personnel.
  • Participate in branch and bank business development activities including community events to promote the bank's favorable image
  • Proactive aisle prospecting required for in-store bankers
  • Protect TS Banking Group financial interests and reputation by complying with internal and external policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Proficient in deposit compliance disclosures. Comply with all banking regulations, policies and procedures.

Maintain educational and professional expertise through attendance at job related seminars, conferences and workshops, and involvement in professional and community groups in leadership positions.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Possess a high school diploma or GED certification required. Additional post high school education and/or training is preferred. One year of work experience in a financial institution. Cash handling experience is a plus. Possess or obtain Notary Certification within three months of appointment. Prior sales experience a plus.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public. Must possess good communication skills.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must have the ability to operate office and bank equipment, including telephone, PC and printer, 10-key calculator, fax machine, copier, document scanner, check encoder, coin machine, currency counter, safe deposit timer, and vault timer. Basic PC knowledge.

Has constant contact with bank clients, their personal representatives, accountants, attorneys, etc., in responding to inquiries as part of the client service function.
