Human Resources Coordinator


SUMMARY

This position is responsible for, facilitating the hiring process and assisting with the Bank's benefit program. This position will also provide general clerical support to the Human Resources Director and is responsible for Human Resources Department recordkeeping. This position may be assigned to coordinate projects and/or perform project work. Professionalism, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet pre-determined deadlines are critical aspects of this job. This position has access to extremely sensitive information and confidential data and is expected to exercise professionalism and confidentiality in all relevant matters. Work is performed independently within the framework of standard operating policies and procedures. Deviations from normal procedures and/or questions are referred to the Human Resources Director.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Publish job posting notices and job descriptions; respond to detailed questions regarding job postings; recruit applicants and take applicant inquiry calls; contact applicants regarding job interviews; prepare face-to-face interview panelist packets and distribute to affected parties; administered interpret assessments; schedule and facilitate interviews; conduct extensive background reports; and finalize employment details.


Coordinate all recruiting, screening, interviewing and selection activities for both exempt and non-exempt positions. Coordinate and conduct all phone interviews, face to face interviews and schedule the final interview with specified senior management. Provide assistance and training to managers and supervisors in the interview process thus ensuring the selection of the candidates best suited to the positions offered by the Bank. Maintain required hiring schedule and possible deadlines.


Assist with offering employee benefits (e.g., contact then forward information to eligible employees; prepare paperwork; answer questions associated with benefits); prepare reports, forms, etc. associated with cafeteria plan, health, life, cancer, long term disability, and dental insurance, (e.g., contact plan administrators reference problems, questions, and/or plan changes;


Assist in the coordination of the annual benefit plan meetings by preparing forms, assembling meeting materials, writing and disseminating memo reference meeting details, and coordinating meeting location, speaker(s) and equipment availability, etc; collect forms and submit to plan administrator; file forms and reports); process benefit changes for employees based on change in status and/or qualifying event.


Assists with overseeing HRIS system (coordinate input of daily information in a timely manner, maintains and updates HR information in the system, including adding new positions, running upgrades, adjusting tables, etc; creates and runs various reports.)


Liaison to retirement benefits third-party administrator (tracks employee eligibility for retirement plans, explains the 401(k) and defined benefit retirement plan to all eligible employees.


Liaison to health and welfare benefits third-party administrator (counsels and enrolls new employees in the Bank's benefit plans and processes all health insurance enrollments and changes).


Assists in the compensation and performance review programs (, monitors returned forms; tracks and provides the Accounting Department with necessary salary increase information; monitors, tracks and posts the Bank's annual variable compensation program, distributes personnel change notice to supervisors and provides the Accounting Department a copy of changes).


Works closely with HR Specialist to complete EEO reports and salary surveys. Also assists with wage-earning requests and employment verification forms received from various institutions.


Works closely with HR Specialist to ensure smooth workflow with regard to new hires, terminations, and tracking of all pertinent employee data.


Answer the telephone; transfer calls or take and transmit messages; greet and screen visitors then direct to appropriate personnel; provide extensive clerical support to the Human Resources Director.


Assist with the maintenance of all hard copy and automated personnel records, lists, files, etc.; prepare reports, forms, etc. as assigned; type a variety of correspondence, memoranda, disciplinary paperwork, documentation, etc.; maintain personnel and subject files; prepare year-end spreadsheets and special reports;; proofread and edit all work produced for accuracy and completeness.


At times may conduct new employee orientation and exit interview meetings.


Represent Bank at Job Fairs.


Coordinate regular and ad-hoc projects, as assigned.


Assists in the preparation and submission of worker compensation paperwork to Division of Worker Compensation and Bank's worker compensation insurance carrier; periodically check status of claim and facilitates claim/bill payment; monitor status of injury via doctor's reports and follow up with employee until claim is closed.


Coordinate summer/seasonal employment.

Human Resources Specialist


SUMMARY

Perform a wide range of Human Resource related responsibilities, including administrative, record keeping and secretarial, relating to the needs of both management and staff by performing the following duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service to internal and external clients at all times. This includes an obligation to actively cooperate and interact with other departments and facilities to advance the overall interests of the Bank.


Perform the full range of duties of the department including complete adherence to all policies and practices of the Bank and its applicable regulatory and governmental agencies in the following areas: benefits, Human Resources Information System, record keeping, employee benevolence/activities, and general administrative area support.


Provide services and activities relative to the processing and administration of the Bank's employee human resource and payroll information systems, including, but not limited to: time sheet and attendance system maintenance, input and transmission of payroll data to the Accounting Department, setting up new employees, processing changes and terminations, and other human resource related information.


Establish, change, or drop Health, Dental, Life, Disability, voluntary (savings, 401(k), etc.) and section 125 pre-tax deductions for bank employees. Answer employee questions on coverage, plan provisions, participation eligibility, and distribute booklets and materials. Perform annual coverage audit with insurer to ensure that all of staff are covered. Handle post employment benefits issues, such as COBRA.

Prepares reports for distribution to other departments of the Bank. Complete EEO reports and salary surveys.


Prepares wage-earning requests and employment verification forms received from various institutions.


Answers general employee questions in regard to Human Resource policies.

Assist with the implementation of Bank's Wellness Program; answer questions, schedule events, coordinate year end testing with Wellness Company, maintain wellness information page. Compile year end data and incorporate information into the wellness insurance premium benefit.

Agriculture Credit Analyst


SUMMARY

This position is responsible for analyzing the financial data of new and existing agriculture loans and preparing credit reviews. Work is performed within the framework of standard operating policies and procedures; however, independent judgment and discretion is required in performing assigned tasks. Deviations from normal procedures and/or questions are referred to the designated supervisor.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Analyze new and existing agriculture credit files (e.g., enter data into database and/or spreadsheet computer applications; generate reports; collate data from reports; review balance sheet, income statement, etc. and calculate ratios in preparing credit review; submit written reviews for credit officers' modification; prepare final comments and make decisions regarding assignment of loan rating; sign and archive credit review with loan file).


Create and run queries for Credit Administration staff.


Update Credit Board Report information. This includes, but is not limited to, new loan reports, reports of concentrations and participations, and updates on progression of watch list loans.


Prepare forms, reports, correspondence, memoranda, etc.; answer the telephone. Perform project work, as assigned.


Comply with all banking regulations, policies and procedures.

Executive Administrative Assistant



SUMMARY

This position is responsible for enhancing executive's effectiveness by providing information management support and representing the executive to others. This position will greet employees and the public in a professional manner in person and on the telephone and direct their questions and concerns to the proper personnel. Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence (emails, mail, etc.); drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications and responding to emails.


Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel. Specifically making reservations for conferences/meetings, and relate hotel, air, car, restaurants, and lunch delivery. Specifically working with others to schedule or reschedule meetings on the executive's calendar, and assist in blocking or gatekeeping time for the executive.


Maintain and submit expense reports along with receipts for business related expenses.

Welcomes guests and clients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries. Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Updating executive about appointments.


Prepares reports and presentations by collecting and analyzing information related to assigned project work. Reports to the executive or supervisor with completion of given project work.


Utilizing filing and retrieval systems. Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.


May assist executive and Corporate/Board Secretary with corporate related matters. This may entail creating reports, editing minutes/documents, reviewing legal and regulatory correspondence.


Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.


Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.

Trust Officer I


SUMMARY

Oversee a Trust portfolio and provide service to current and prospective clients. Responsible for the development and retention of personal and corporate trust business with the objectives of profit for the Bank and quality service to clients.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist in establishing the overall direction of the Trust Department by implementing the Bank's objectives and defining the means for their attainment.


Contact potential clients to sell trust and investment management services; prepare and present proposals; conduct seminars and speak to target audiences about trust products and service.


Administer various trust accounts as provided under the governing instrument in accordance with Bank policy, established practice approved procedures and legal constraints; maintain proper paperwork in client files; assist clients with a variety of requests.


Prepare initial trust abstract and annually review trust accounts; contact trust clients to review investment performance; gather relevant data and counsel and advise clients regarding estate planning; assist clients with transferring assets to trust accounts.


Monitor investments for trust accounts including the purchase, sale, and retention of assets (e.g., cash, stocks, bonds, other securities, real estate, mineral interests, etc.); monitor cash position; prepare asset allocation data.


Review trust documents to ensure they are accurate and complete with all applicable legal requirements; prepare and submit bids to manage funds.


Probates wills in accordance with financial institution policies and state laws.


Appraises and secures assets within the financial institution as directed. Manages real estate, closely held corporations and other situations subject to valuation, in accordance with state and federal laws.

Pays all taxes due in a timely manner.

SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinating the banking efforts and activities within a specified geographic market, by working with the organization-wide functional leader(s) of retail banking, wealth management services, and credit risk to ensure a coordinated effort of business development, operations, and client services in the specified geographic market. The Market President will be more focused on the commercial banking, cash management, and the lending functions in the geographic market, while working with the organization-wide functional leader(s) on other functions.


Provide input to the CEO on the overall management direction and control of all market functions. Participate in the development of Bank/Departmental policies and major Bank goals and strategies. Develop and review the long and short-term goals and objectives for growth and profitability in the specified geographic market. Business Development/Marketing

Work with the Director of Community Reinvestment on various Bank financial donations and activities to various organizations with in the specified geographic market. Credit Risk Management

Work with the leader of credit risk (CCO) to originate, underwrite and close secured and unsecured commercial; agricultural and consumer loans in accordance with established credit objectives, policies and procedures; establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients.


Pre-screen loan client prospects, identifying credit risk/needs and determine alignment with our expertise, performance, and profitability expectations. Assigns qualifying prospects to relationship manager best suited for prospect based upon area of expertise, level of experience and abilities in relation to the prospects needs.


Work closely with the Bank's credit relationship managers, credit analysts, and credit operations in underwriting loan requests into credit packages for appropriate approval; includes training, coaching, mentoring, overseeing, and evaluating team members in regard to credit underwriting, servicing, analysis, collections, loan structure/terms, collateral attachment/perfection, presentations and completion of loan documents.
