Client Service Representative


SUMMARY:

Must complete the 90-day on onboarding process which includes BAI training;

Responsible for processing transactions for clients; Work is performed within the framework of TS Bank standard operating policies and procedures. Deviations from normal procedures and/or questions are referred to a more experienced banker or the Lead Personal Banker.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Process transactions via the CSR window; verify client identity and documents produced; verify endorsement(s) and funds available; count currency; check transaction for accuracy and completeness; issue receipts; monitor and balance cash drawer; reconcile differences; maintain CSR supplies.

Identify the client by name; provide client service to individuals in person and over the telephone; explain the bank's policies and procedures regarding transactions.


Ensure security of assigned CSR drawer and coin vault; maintain proper amount of currency in cash drawer; buy, sell, and verify currency; complete log books and bank slips; process large currency orders; count and bundle currency; process mutilated/unfit currency.


Process bank by mail, night deposits, loan payments, savings bonds, credit card payments and advances, transferring funds, etc.; issue official checks, Visa Gift Cards and Travel Money Cards.


Respond to loan payoff inquiries; contact Loan Department personnel or refers client, as needed.


Attend mandatory bank meetings and training seminars, including but not limited to, the bank's web based training program.


Comply with all banking regulations, policies and procedures.


Provide awareness of banking products and services with current and prospective clients. Use CRM system to prepare and proceed with the next steps in referral process (current and prospective clientele); provide feedback to supervisor and affected bank personnel.


Periodically Personal Banker/Client Service Representative(s) may be asked to participate in the Bank's business development activities, represent the Bank in industry and professional associations, community organizations, local business groups, etc., and promote the Bank's favorable image.



NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain education and professional expertise through attendance at job related seminars, conferences, and workshops and involvement in professional, civic, and community groups.

Must have a professional presentation; must be a self-starter, be punctual and reliable.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Use of bank software and programs and other utilized web sites as needed.

Operate office and bank equipment (e.g., personal computer and printer, 10-key calculator, typewriter, telephone, fax machine, copier, document scanner, television and VCR, check encoder, coin machine, currency counter, paper cutter, hole punch, , dolly, safe deposit timer, vault timer, security system, etc.); Basic CRT inquiry.

Credit Analyst I


SUMMARY

This position is responsible for analyzing the financial data of new and existing commercial loans and preparing credit reviews. Work is performed within the framework of standard operating policies and procedures; however, independent judgment and discretion is required in performing assigned tasks. Deviations from normal procedures and/or questions are referred to the designated supervisor.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Analyze new and existing commercial credit files (e.g., enter data into database and/or spreadsheet computer applications; generate reports; collate data from reports; review balance sheet, income statement, etc. and calculate ratios in preparing credit review; submit review for loan officers' modification; prepare final comments and make decisions regarding assignment of loan rating; sign and archive credit review with loan file).


Create and run queries for Commercial Loan Department staff.


Update Loan Board Report information. This includes, but is not limited to, new loan reports, reports of concentrations and participations, updates on progression of watch list loans, etc.


Prepare forms, reports, correspondence, memoranda, etc.; answer the telephone. Perform project work, as assigned.


Comply with all banking regulations, policies and procedures.


NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain educational and professional expertise through attendance at job related seminars, conferences and workshops. Represent the bank in a variety of community activities and functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Possess a four-year college degree from an accredited university or institution with the major area of study in accounting, finance, business administration or other closely related discipline. Work experience and/or college coursework can be substituted for the four-year college degree.


Posses a minimum of three months of professional work experience as a credit analyst or closely related field.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must have the ability to operate the following equipment: telephone, 10-key calculator, typewriter, personal computer and printer, copy machine, fax machine. Must have working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge.

Has frequent contact with individuals within the Commercial Lending Department.
