Tim Larsen – SVP of Community Banking

Tim joined TS Banking Group in July 2015 as Business Process Improvement Coordinator and then later was promoted to Business Process Improvement Manager. In these roles Tim worked to develop strategic process improvements and improve operational effectiveness across the company. In July 2018, Tim was named SVP of Community Banking where he leads the strategic efforts of TS Bank’s community banking division. Tim graduated from Central College with a degree in Elementary Education and later received a master’s degree at Creighton University. Prior to entering the banking industry, he had a successful career in education that included roles in administration, classroom teacher, and coach. Tim is active in the community and has served as a board member for Treynor Community Outreach and a spot group leader at First Christian Church in Council Bluffs.

Dave Wise – Market President, Council Bluffs

Dave was named Market President for TS Bank in October 2018. He has 20 years of financial services industry experience, including credit analysis, treasury management, relationship management, commercial and business banking, along with equipment and real estate financing. Dave earned his undergraduate degree and MBA from Creighton University. Dave has served on numerous boards and community organizations and currently is a member of the Nebraska Enterprise Fund, Children’s Square, the Iowa West Foundation Placemaking Advisory Committee, and the Friends of the Council Bluffs Public Library. In his free time he enjoys volunteering in the community, the arts, coaching youth sports, exercising, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Dan Rossell – Market President, Atlantic

Dan currently serves as the Market President for the Atlantic branch. Prior to TS Bank, Dan worked for Rolling Hills Bank and Trust in Atlantic for 21 years where he was involved with all facets of banking including, ag and commercial lending, Compliance Officer, Market President and Senior Leader. Dan is a graduate of Northwestern College, holding a BA in Business Administration with career concentrations in Finance and Economics. Additionally, he graduated from the School of Banking with special honors.

Tysen Christensen – Market President, Corning

Tysen’s career in banking began immediately after his college graduation in 2004 with Union Bank in Corning as a CSR/Teller. In 2006, he transitioned to Okey Vernon Bank as a VP, Loan Officer and worked his way to become VP, Senior Loan Officer prior to TS Bank’s acquisition in 2016.

Mike Phillips – Market President, Ames

Mike Phillips joined the TS Bank team in May 2020 as market president for Ames. Mike has a BA from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, and he most recently served as a Business Loan Officer with Greater Iowa Credit Union. Phillips brings more than 19 years of experience in all areas of bank management, including operations, retail banking and commercial lending. Mike resides in Ames with his wife and two children. He enjoys watching his children participate in various activities including dance, athletics and music. He coaches his son’s little league team and travel baseball team. Phillips serves on the YSS Board of Directors as Treasurer. YSS is an organization that strives to provide hope and opportunity to youth in Central Iowa. He also serves on the Story County Community Foundation Board of Directors, the Ames Little League Baseball Board of Directors and he is an active Rotarian.

Russ Maguire – VP, Consumer Credit, Treynor

Russ joined TS Bank in 1986 as a loan rep, and over the years has moved into his current position as VP of Consumer Lending and Lending Compliance Officer. He oversees the consumer lending area and assists with training the Universal Bankers on consumer lending and compliance. He is also involved with consumer real estate lending including construction, home equity and secondary market home loan financing. Russ graduated from Tarkio College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Admin and minor in Economics. He has worked with both Ag/Commercial and Consumer lending departments and combines over 30 years of banking knowledge and experience. Russ is originally from Treynor and has been on the volunteer fire department for 31 years where he currently serves as the active chief for the past 24 years.

Marie Miller – VP of Business Banking, Council Bluffs

Marie Miller started her career with TS Bank in August 2012 and today serves as Vice President of Business Banking. In this role, Marie facilitates commercial loans and business banking relationships by matching clients appropriately with products and services that best serve their business needs.  Marie graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business. She was an Area Sales Manager for a large department store chain before entering the banking industry. Marie began her banking career in 2001 and has held a number of different titles such as Loan Secretary, Loan Documentation Specialist, Personal Banking Officer, and Commercial Loan Officer. Marie has served on the Board of Directors for All Care Health Center in Council Bluffs since 2011, and is the current Vice Chair of the Board. She also has been on the Board of Directors for the Hughes Irons Facilities Corporation since 2010.

Andrew Murray - VP of Business Banking, Council Bluffs

Andrew re-joined the TS Bank team in December 2019, after previously serving the company from 2014 - 2015. He was born and raised in Council Bluffs and graduated from Iowa State University. Andrew brings over eighteen years of banking experience, holding positions from personal banker to a branch manager. Most recently he served as a Business Banking Manager focusing on business development and commercial deposits. He has been married for fifteen years, and together he and his wife have two daughters. In his free time, he coaches his daughter's basketball team, enjoys spending time with his family and is a fitness instructor at the Charles Lakin YMCA.

Kelly Herring – AVP of Consumer Credit, Corning

Kelly joined TS Bank in 2005 and serves as the AVP of Consumer Credit in the Corning TS Bank branch location. Kelly works with clients to help them with any of their consumer credit needs, whether it be helping the client with a loan or just coaching them on good credit practices. She is also a registered mortgage lender and is able to do purchase loans, refinances, construction loans, and Home Equity loans. Kelly is a native of Corning and continues to reside there. She is a graduate of Buena Vista University with her Bachelor’s degree in Education. In the many years that Kelly has been with the bank, she has worked in many departments, such as, proof and imaging, bookkeeping and opening new accounts and receptionist. She became a consumer loan officer in July 2013. Kelly is active within her community and serves as treasurer on the Adams County Commission on Sustainability Board, the Adams Co. Ministerial Assn., and the Corning Municipal Utility Board. Kelly also enjoys volunteering with the Corning Elementary Parent Teacher Organization when she can. Kelly also is the Corning branch liaison for the marketing and community reinvestment departments for TS Bank.

Rick Ohlinger – VP of Ag Banking

Rick joined TS Bank in April 2015.  In his current role as VP of Ag Banking, Rick works one-on-one with clients to provide innovative and competitive financing options. He manages the credit relationship through the entire process and works closely with the analysts. Through his various roles within the banking industry, Rick has gained vast experience in agricultural lending and offers guidance and expertise in finding the right financing for Midwest producers.

Matt Saar – VP of Ag and Business Banking, Treynor

Matt joined TS Bank in September 2014 as a credit analyst. With his prior experience as a credit analyst for the bank, Matt has a good understanding of agricultural finance and the bank’s analysis practices. He brings that experience with him in his role as VP of Ag Banking and works with producers to streamline the loan approval process and provide the best loan options available.

Lacey Sampson – VP of Personal Banking

Lacey joined TS Bank in June of 2016, and today she serves as the Vice President of Personal Banking. Lacey’s focus with TS Bank is overseeing the frontline operations, ensuring excellent client service. Her work experience includes 10 years with Midstates Bank, where she held many positions from teller to Convenience Banking Manager. Lacey has experience in customer service, personal banking, business banking, lending functions, and treasury services. Lacey received an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Iowa Western Community College, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a minor in Criminal Justice from Buena Vista University. Lacey Currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Iowa Bankers Association’s Consumer Credit School, she also serves on the Board of Directors for the Council Bluffs Housing Trust Fund. Lacey enjoys community based projects especially those that benefit children and the homeless.

Nikki Tiarks- AVP of Personal Banking, Council Bluffs

Nikki serves as the AVP of Personal Banking for the Council Bluffs branches. She joined TS Bank in March of 2020 with over 19 years of banking experience ranging from teller to branch management, audit, compliance, operations, training and development. Nikki received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Banking and Finance from Buena Vista University. She is an American Bankers Association School of Compliance graduate and is a Certified Presenter with Dialogue Works. Nikki is the Chair of the Board of Directors for PACE- Pottawattamie Arts Culture and Entertainment and has been involved with the Council Bluffs arts organizations for several years.

Amy Coenen – AVP of Personal Banking, Atlantic 

Amy currently serves as the AVP of Personal Banking and Branch Manager for the Atlantic location. She joined TS Bank in 2017 after serving as Wells Fargo Branch Manager in Atlantic. She has been in branch management for three years and has been in the banking industry for a total of seven years. Her career background includes extensive client relationship experience, and she was drawn to community banking because of the relationships that are built with the clients.

Kristi Krayneski – Chief Operating Officer

Kristi joined TS Prosperity Group in 2007 and today serves as Chief Operating Officer. Kristi works with all departments within TS Prosperity Group (Administration, Operations, Investments and Sales) to help implement strategy, goals and processes for the success of TS Prosperity Group. Kristi was raised in Council Bluffs and a graduate of Lewis Central High School. Kristi is active within the Treynor Community. She has served on the Treynor Little League Board, coached youth sports, and assisted with numerous Treynor Athletic Fundraising events over the past 9 years. Kristi is a graduate of University of Nebraska at Omaha in Management Information Systems. Her work experience includes 8 years investment brokerage operations, 8 years as licensed real estate agent/broker, 15 years as small business owner and 9 years in Operations for TS Prosperity Group.

Brett Werner – Chief Investment Officer

As Chief Investment Officer, Brett oversees the entire TS Prosperity Group investment portfolio. Brett began working for TS Banking Group in 2011, and during this time he has held leadership positions in investment analysis, financial risk management, and client investment management. Much of his time over the last few years has been spent implementing industry best practices and processes in these areas.

Jim Koch – Senior Fiduciary Officer, VP

Jim joined the TS Prosperity Group in 2010. As a Fiduciary Officer, Jim assists clients in the development and implementation of their individual and family prosperity plans. As part of the team, Jim provides clients with fiduciary account management, focusing on investment agency accounts, IRAs and retirement planning assistance. Jim is a native of north-central Iowa and he earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saint Thomas, St. Paul, MN.  Jim’s work experience includes more than two decades of financial and operations management in universities, non-profit organizations and private foundations.

Rich Purdy, CFP® – Fiduciary Officer, VP

Rich has been with TS Bank since 1984, and currently serves as a Fiduciary Officer with TS Prosperity Group. Rich works with clients in all areas of wealth management and financial planning. Rich obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in July of 2000. He also provides farm management services to TS Prosperity Group clients, and is a licensed real estate broker. Rich grew up on a farm in southwest Iowa. He is a graduate of Iowa State University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business. His work experience includes seven years as a Consultant with the Southwest Iowa Farm Business Association, 30 years as a licensed real estate agent/broker and 32 years of banking.

Mary Jewell – Fiduciary Officer, VP, JD

Mary Jewell serves as a Fiduciary Officer and Vice President for the TS Prosperity Group. She began her career with TS Bank in 2012. Prior to working at TS Bank, she was an agricultural estate-planning specialist for Farm Credit Services and spent 12 years as a trust officer for another regional bank. She spent four years as a planned giving officer for a public foundation and shares her expertise with the Treynor State Community Foundation. She also raised funds for a local non-profit. Mary received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her Juris Doctorate from Creighton University. She stays busy with her family of six children and volunteers her time at the Joslyn Castle, the New Cassel Foundation Board, and the Center, in Council Bluffs. She is a member of the Omaha Estate Planning Council and the Nebraska State Bar Association.

Brent graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with triple major degrees in Business Management, Financial Management, and Financial Services in 2010. He started working for Okey Vernon Bank seven days after graduating and is now with TS Bank after the acquisition of 2016. He has been in the banking industry for seven years, all of which are in the loan officer field.

Jay Myers – Investment Officer, VP

As Investment Officer, VP for TS Prosperity Group, Jay is responsible for providing investment operations, compliance, due diligence review and analysis guidance for the TS Prosperity Group investment management team.  Jay sits on the Investment Committee as well as the Trust Audit Committee for TS Prosperity Group.  Prior to joining TS Prosperity Group, Jay worked for five years as a Director and Senior Analyst in the regulatory compliance group for a large independent broker dealer.  Beginning in 1992, over two terms, Jay worked for TD Ameritrade for fourteen years in roles ranging from Director of Trading, Director of Regulatory Compliance, margin risk analysis, financial analytics, Director of Trade Ideas and also worked with a small team to develop and implement the firm’s social media strategy.  Jay began his career as an instructor at Northwest Missouri State University.  Jay has held the Series 4, 6, 7, 24 and 63 licenses as well as insurance and health licensing. Jay’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from Northwest Missouri State University and a Master of Science from Oklahoma State University.

Cody Forbush, CFP® – Investment Strategist, AVP

Cody joined TS Prosperity Group in 2017. As an Investment Strategist, Cody sits on the Investment Committee and helps with the research, investment recommendations, and portfolio construction. His role also includes taking the message from the Investment Committee and delivering it to the client in a way that makes sense.  He does also does all of the financial planning for TS Prosperity Group clients.  Cody comes from a rural farming community in Idaho. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Investment Science and Portfolio management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).  He also completed a MBA degree from UNO with an emphasis in Risk Management. Cody is CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM. His work experience includes assisting high net worth clients plan around their goals, and developing an all-encompassing strategy to help accomplish those goals.

Krysta Stevens – Administrative Coordinator

Krysta joined TS Banking Group in 2013 and currently serves as a Client Service Coordinator for the TS Prosperity Group. Since joining TS Banking Group, Krysta has been a member of the Frontline team as well as the Bank Operations team. Krysta is responsible for client service, new client onboarding, accounts payable, and the wire desk. Krysta graduated from Riverside High School in Oakland, Iowa, and attended Iowa Western Community College where she obtained her Associates Degree in Business Administration.

Sarabeth joined TS Prosperity Group in March of 2019 and serves as the Operations Manager. She has gained valuable experience working in the financial and investment industry for the past 12 years, where she held several positions at Boys Town. Sarabeth graduated from A-H-S-T High School in Avoca, Iowa. She is currently completing her Associates Degree in Business Administration at Iowa Western Community College.

Matt Schuster – Client Service Coordinator

Matt joined TS Prosperity Group in March of 2017, and has been working within the financial industry for 8 years.  He has gained experience in financial operations and client service, with past work experience with a mutual fund wholesaler and a worker’s compensation insurer.  Matt is a 2009 graduate of Iowa State University, where he majored in marketing.  Matt is also a member of Impact CB, a young professionals group of the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce which offers professional development, networking, volunteer, and civic engagement opportunities.

Audrey Schnitker – Operations Coordinator

Audrey Schnitker has been with the TS Prosperity group since April 2019. Audrey was homeschooled from kindergarten through high school, and before joining the Prosperity group, she worked for Mouw Family Chiropractic as head of the financial department for two years with experience in the insurance field. Audrey currently serves as the Operations Coordinator for the TS Prosperity Group operations team.

Norman Collins – Senior Tax Director

Norman Collins has owned and managed Collins Consulting Service for over 40 years with experience in individual, corporate, partnership, non-profit and estate tax returns along with accounting and payroll. Norm also worked for several years with a large construction company, a bank and a CPA firm, all in Omaha. With these firms, he managed accounting, payroll, sales tax, subcontract, employment and benefits departments. Currently Norm is Treasurer for his church. Vision Treynor Group Inc., and 4 Corners Days Celebration Group and along with wife. Donna, organizes Treynor’s annual celebration. In his spare time. Norm enjoys watching his 4 grandchildren in their school activities, watching sports and working in the yard.

Justin Horton – Senior Tax Associate

Justin Horton has been working at Collins Consulting Service since 2005. Justin has significant experience at preparing tax returns along with processing payroll and sales tax. Prior to working at Collins Consulting, Justin worked for a large bank in the insurance and tax division. He also worked several years in cash management at a bank. He currently lives in Treynor with wife Kristine. They have 3 children, Korbin, Kiralyn and Khloe. Justin enjoys camping with friends and family, classic cars and volunteers at church with a youth group every week.

Moriah Bees – Operations Officer

Moriah Bees joined Collins Consulting on a part time basis in February 2010. January of 2015 she started working full time for Collins. She is currently the Operations Officer, handing the daily operation of Collins Consulting. During tax season she meets with clients, prepares and reviews tax returns. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Buena Vista. Prior to joining Collins Consulting she ran her family’s heating/cooling and appliance repair business.

She currently lives in Carson with her husband Dylan and their 2 children Addison and Kal. In her free time she enjoys working out, spending time with her friends and family and  being outdoors.

Lindsay Anderson – Payroll Administrator

Lindsay Anderson joined Collins Consulting in August of 2009 where she managed front desk duties full time. She is currently working as Payroll Administrator involving tasks such as payroll and accounting services, managing business clients’ accounts as well as many other administrative duties. Lindsay attended Treynor High School and later graduated from Iowa Western Community College with an associate’s degree in Business Administration. She lives near Treynor along with her husband and their 3 children. Lindsay enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family.

Prior to Collins Consulting, Brandon worked at Iowa Western in the Accounting Department for 9 years. Brenda Jacobs – Tax Accountant

Brenda Jacobs joined Collins Consulting Service in December of 2014 on a part time basis and became a permanent team member April of 2019. Prior to joining Collins Consulting, Brenda served as a police officer for 20+ years for a nearby city in Nebraska. Before retiring from law enforcement she earned a master’s degree in finance and accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management. She has been a voluntary fiduciary for the local veteran’s affairs/social security office for the past 15 years. Currently she assists in tax preparation during the tax season as well as accounting services throughout the year. She lives on an acreage near Treynor with her husband, Phil and their 4 dogs. She enjoys golfing, camping, watching Husker football, and photography.

Patty Fleming – Tax Operations Specialist

Patty Fleming joined Collins Consulting in December of 2018 and currently serves as a Tax Operations Specialist, involved in various duties to ensure tax returns are completed. She assists with payroll, sales tax and accounting services throughout the year. Patty graduated from the University of Iowa where she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She currently lives in Council Bluffs with her husband and four children. Patty enjoys spending time with family, attending sporting events, and traveling out West.
