Collins Consulting announces new Senior Tax Advisor

Treynor, Iowa, January 26, 2026 - Collins Consulting is pleased to welcome Tom Mullen as its new Senior Tax Advisor.
Bringing more than 25 years of tax expertise and leadership experience, Mullen has an extensive background in tax preparation, including 12 years managing tax offices. Earlier in his career, he also previously owned and operated an irrigation business. His work has also earned notable recognition, including being named salesman of the year for multiple years.
Mullen holds a bachelor’s degree in business and business management from the University of Nebraska Omaha and has earned the respected enrolled agent designation, reflecting his advanced tax knowledge and a commitment to professional excellence.

Originally from Norfolk, Nebraska, Mullen now resides in Omaha, Nebraska. He has a strong commitment to community service, serving on the Millard Days Board and volunteering with the American Cancer Society.

Mullen and his wife, Shannon, have three adult children Shelby, Emily and Luke. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and watching sports.
