June 25, 2021 | TS Bank

Treynor, Iowa, June 25, 2021 – TS Bank has partnered with The 712 Initiative in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to help local neighborhoods through a new program called AMP, which provides funding for direct homeowner projects, neighborhood block initiatives and down payment assistance.

Applications are open now through August 15, 2021. Recipient(s) in the Council Bluffs area will be awarded up to $5,000 in prize money for their particular project. TS Bank is the lead sponsor donating $3,500 to The 712 Initiative for the AMP program.  Other contributing sponsors include Black Hills Energy and Real Property Management, Deb and Pete Petersen.

Individuals are encouraged to nominate themselves or a neighbor who needs assistance with outdoor housing needs. Project requests can range from landscaping, siding, painting, fencing, driveways, sidewalks, windows, roofing and exterior doors.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with TS Bank on AMP.  A home investment is one of the biggest investments in a person’s life and can have the greatest impact on their personal success and our community as a whole,” said The 712 Initiative CEO, Sheryl Garst. “We encourage all residents to dream and submit a nomination for themselves or for a fellow neighbor that could use some extra assistance.”

“We consider it a great honor to reinvest in our local communities.  We are excited to launch AMP and collaborate with local leaders, nonprofit organizations and community member to help make an impact in our neighborhoods for years to come,” added TS Bank Director of Public Relations, Kelsey Stupfell.
