REV kickoff event, special Kitchen Council tour announced

Council Bluffs, Iowa, July 13, 2022 - In conjunction with Startup Omaha Week, Advance Southwest Iowa Corporation, Kitchen Council and TS Bank a new, REV kickoff event is set for Wednesday, July 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center located at 1001 South 6th St, Council Bluffs, Iowa 51501.

The evening will kickoff with a welcome from Pottawattamie Arts Culture and Entertainment (PACE), CEO, Danna Kehm followed by a brief, motivational address from Rick Faber with Vistage. Attendees will also hear from a panel of past REV winners and a special behind the scenes look at Kitchen Council, a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen that provides educational resources, events, mentorship and more for food entrepreneurs.

Panel speakers include Alejandra Valdez, founder and owner of Viva Fit Kitchen, Alysia Hess, owner of The Occasional Collective, Spencer Robinson, Chief Technology Officer from Appsky and moderator, Rick Faber from Vistage. Each will share about their REV pitch competition experiences, where they are now and how new entrepreneurs can get started.

Drinks and light appetizers will be provided for attendees. This event is open to the public.
