Council Bluffs, Iowa, August 20, 2025 - TS Bank gifted $5,000 to the Women’s Fund of Southwest Iowa, a catalyst for lasting, positive change addressing the challenges facing women and families across the region.

Established in 2018, the Community Foundation for Western Iowa Women’s Fund serves nine counties including Cass, Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie, and Shelby and has granted more than $475,000 to date. The fund supports programming focused on women’s health, safety, education, workforce equity, plus well-being with increased emphasis on STEM education, personal finance, leadership and access to childcare and transportation.

“This generous gift from TS Bank helps us continue building solutions that meet the real needs of women in nine counties throughout southwest Iowa,” said Donna Dostal, President and CEO at the Community Foundation for Western Iowa. “We are grateful for their partnership and shared commitment to uplift women and families across the region."

The fund is designed to improve the quality of life for women and their families through strategic planning and a collaborative needs-assessment. Programs also support aging women with access to healthcare, healthy foods and volunteer services.

“As a community, we have the opportunity to come together and create tangible solutions,” said Kelsey Stupfell, Director of Public Relations at TS Bank. “We’re proud to support this mission and continue our commitment to helping families in southwest Iowa for generations to come."

The Women’s Fund will host its annual Impact for Women Summit on September 25, 2025, featuring keynote speaker Marlee Matlin, Academy Award-winning actress and author. Tickets are available at https://www.givewesterniowa.com.
