TS Bank donates two-year capital campaign gift of $12,500 to city of Macedonia

August 8, 2017 | TS Bank

Macedonia, IA - TS Bank is proud to announce a two-year capital campaign gift of $12,500 to the City of Macedonia and Macedonia Hamilton Development Corporation.

The funds are going to the Macedonia Historical Preservation Society, Grist Mill Fine Arts Council and Theatre, Macedonia Park Committee and future Main Street Program.

Macedonia was founded in 1846 and one of the oldest and most historic towns in Southwest Iowa. With building designs from both the 19th and 20th century, the main street Macedonia buildings come together and create a main street rich with variety and continuity.

“We are thrilled about this gift from TS Bank,” said Susan Goos, President of Macedonia Hamilton Development Corporation. “This community is proud of its history, and we want to continue to see it grow.”

In addition to this gift, TS Bank is a proud partner of Donia Day, taking place on Saturday, August 26. TS Bank will be present at the parade and bed races. They will also be handing out popsicles at their branch from 10 a.m. to noon on August 26.
