TS Bank hosts Marketing for a Cause educational workshop

Council Bluffs, IA, May 16, 2023 - TS Bank believes in helping people DO MORE, including the mission-focused work of our local nonprofits. A sold-out crowd of southwest Iowa nonprofit leaders attended the Impacting Nonprofits: Marketing for a Cause on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Caddy's Kitchen and Cocktails.

Keynote speaker, Randa Zalman, Associate Professor, Graduate Marketing and MBA Director at Bellevue University conducted the workshop. After 20 successful years as a marketing professional, agency principal and entrepreneur, Randa transitioned to higher education. She currently serves as an associate professor and director of marketing strategy and MBA programs at Bellevue University.

During this Impacting Nonprofits: Marketing for a Cause workshop attendees walked away with tactics of how to develop a comprehensive plan leveraging various marketing, public relations and fundraising tactics for results to enhance your nonprofit mission and outreach. Additionally, the four media categories encompassed in the PESO model — Paid, Earned, Shared and Owned were depicted for how to best integrate into your communications and fundraising strategies.
