TS Bank hosts successful nineteenth annual TS Promise

Treynor, IA - TS Bank, in partnership with Fellowship Church, recently hosted TS Promise, a four-day event, where illusionist and motivational speaker, Matt Adams, visited 11 southwest Iowa high schools.
This marks the nineteenth year that TS Bank has sponsored this event as a way to reinvest in local area youth and provide a speaker for schools that might not have these funds in their budget.
This year TS Bank and Fellowship Church were glad to bring Matt Adams, a master illusionist, who has traveled the world telling stories and sharing his gift of magic. Adams is recognized in the magic community for his groundbreaking work on the Illusion Repository. Adams has also produced several online magic videos including a very popular tutorial for coin manipulation.
“To personally have experienced the positive impact of TS Promise as a high school student and now as an employee is so rewarding,” said Kelsey Stupfell, Director of Community Reinvestment. “TS Bank strives to be a community partner by helping to make our communities great for everyone. This particular event showcases our commitment to youth and company core values. We look forward to our 20th anniversary of this program next year!”
The High Schools involved in the TS Promise 2018 line-up were: Treynor High School, Griswold High School, Underwood High School, Riverside High School, Treynor Elementary School, Tri-Center High School, Thomas Jefferson High School, Abraham Lincoln High School, Atlantic High School, Southwest Valley High School and AHSTW High School.
“Thank you for helping bring Matt to meet with our students. We really appreciate all of your efforts to make this happen,” said Katie Elwood, MS/HS Principal and Athletic Director for Griswold. "I have heard a lot of positive feedback regarding this year's assembly and many students who were interested in attending the youth rally after his in-school performance.”
“We truly enjoyed having Mr. Adams as a guest speaker at Riverside,” stated Mandi Reynolds, Principal for Riverside High School. “His mix of magic and message entertained as well as positively resonated with kids. We appreciate TS Bank for making this opportunity available for our students!”
TS Promise concluded with a youth rally, hosted at Fellowship Church in Oakland on Friday, Nov. 9. Over 250 people attended to enjoy a more robust illusionary performance from Matt Adams and hear his story.
