TS Bank welcomes Dave Zimmerman as new market president

Council Bluffs, Iowa, January 20, 2026 - TS Bank is pleased to announce Dave Zimmerman as the new market president for Council Bluffs.
Zimmerman begins this role in his 30th year of banking. He started his career as a teller while attending college and has since held several roles including personal banker, branch manager, head of retail banking and market president.
In his new role, Zimmerman will provide leadership for local market banking activities, with an emphasis on business lending and deposit relationships. He will be based out of TS Bank's 43 Scott Street office in Council Bluffs and will lead a team of skilled lenders and bankers while continuing to strengthen client relationships. The role was previously held by Dave Wise and then Austin Diehm, who were promoted to President of Community Banking and Senior Vice President of Consumer Banking, respectively.
He earned his associate degree in business administration from Iowa Western Community College and then received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance and banking from Buena Vista University.

A lifelong resident of Council Bluffs, Zimmerman continues to give back through involvement in several local organizations. He currently serves on the boards of the Charles E. Lakin YMCA, Union Pacific Railroad Museum and VODEC, and is a past board member and board chair of the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Council Bluffs program.
Earlier in his career, Zimmerman was part of a banking startup, which he describes as the most fun he has had in his professional journey. Over the years, he has also become adept at pitching in wherever needed, even if that meant scooping snow or changing air filters.
Zimmerman and his wife, Kari, have four children Tim, Nic, Addison and Avery. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching youth sports teams and playing basketball.
